Stacey Fisher To Receive Goldstein Award


The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati announced Stacey Fisher will be honored for years of dedicated service to Cincinnati’s Jewish community, as its Volunteer of the Year, named the Robert V. Goldstein Award, during the Federation’s 111th Annual Meeting on May 21, 2008 at Isaac M. Wise Temple.

Kathie and Donald Kaplan To Receive Mensch Award

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is proud to honor Kathie and Donald Kaplan for their inspirational dedication to the Jewish community.  The Federation will present the Mesel Wieder "Mensch" award to the Kaplans during its 111th Annual Meeting on May 21, 2008.

James Steele to Receive Sr. Avodah Award


James Steele of Halom House will be presented with the Harris K. and Alice F. Weston Sr. "Avodah" Award.  The award recognizes outstanding Jewish Communal Professionals with 10 or more years of experience in the community.

Rachel Festenstein of Cedar Village will be presented with the Harris K. and Alice F. Weston Jr. "Avodah" Award.  The award recognizes outstanding Jewish Communal Professionals with 5 or more years of experience in the community.
